We’re excited to be recruiting for a fantastic independent broker in the region, offering a rare opportunity to work directly alongside the Directors and support the growing Handler team in Sheffield.

The Role
You'll be responsible for overseeing a team of Handlers managing a wide range of commercial insurance programmes. Key areas of focus include:
Supporting the Directors on strategy and business growth
Leading and motivating a team made up by experience and apprentices
Driving technical development and improving client journey processes
Managing workloads and maintaining service standards
Championing a positive team culture and embedding core company values
Ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and compliance in all interactions
What You’ll Bring
Solid commercial insurance experience
Previous leadership or team management experience is advantageous
Knowledge of FCA/regulatory frameworks
Cert CII (or working towards)
Strong communication and coaching skills
Collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
Experience with Acturis is a plus
