This role is designed to support your development into a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker within 6 months, following successful completion of training and competency assessments.
You will be part of a supportive team, working under the supervision of registered professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients in hospital or community settings.
* Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding
* Record patient observations including vital signs and escalate concerns
* Support clinical procedures such as wound care, venepuncture, and catheter removal (after training)
* Assist with medication administration and oxygen therapy (after training)
* Escort patients and support enhanced observations
* Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient dignity and confidentiality

Candidate Requirements
* No healthcare experience required but interested in a healthcare career
* Genuine desire to work in healthcare
* Transferable skills from previous work experience
* Availability for full-week induction training
* Flexibility to work shifts (days, nights, weekends)
* Ability to complete Care Certificate training
* GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above, or equivalent, or capable of completing Level 2 functional skills within 6 months
