Job Purpose
Responsible for cost control activities (estimating, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting) for assigned vessels. Regular liaison with Project Managers and teams to ensure accurate and timely information. Strong application of accounting principles and development and adherence to adequate control procedures.
Job Description
1. Support the development of standardized budgeting and forecasting models to optimize team efficiency.
2. Assist in implementing change and improvement initiatives.
3. Identify opportunities to optimize costs and achieve financial targets.
4. Contribute to the continuous development of cost control tools.
5. Promote a culture of cost awareness within iEPCI, ensuring high-level cost management support.
6. Ensure budget holders are clearly identified and understand their roles and responsibilities.
7. Provide support and training to all budget holders.
8. Implement and maintain robust cost management processes.
9. Document main processes and provide procedures and coding guides, updating them as needed to align with business changes.
10. Ensure compliance with cost management processes and procedures.
11. Communicate plans, timetables, and financial requirements to budget holders and stakeholders timely and clearly.
12. Provide budget holders with visibility of financial data, including historical costs and trend analysis, for effective budget management.
13. Hold effective meetings to review and challenge financial deliverables, fostering ownership and accountability.
14. Maintain a strong understanding of cash flow reporting.
Skills
Essential:
* Prior experience in a similar role
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Ability to analyze high volumes of data and prepare management summaries
* Experience with marine and/or construction projects
* Strong team ethic, positive attitude, and enthusiasm

Desirable:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, or similar
* Experience in subsea construction/marine industry (e.g., dry dockings, conversions)
* Oracle experience
