Role description:
We are recruiting a Project Manager for Education projects across Northern England. The role involves project management and contract administration, with ownership of projects from inception to completion and handover.
Role accountabilities:
The Project Manager will own a set of projects, responsible for progressing them in line with the development programme. Responsibilities include:
* Leading feasibility studies
* Engaging and managing contractors through pre-contract to award
* Monitoring works for compliance with standards (supported by Clerk of Works)
* Ensuring contractor quality
* Certifying works as compliant and complete
Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in education construction projects is desirable
* Experience in other public sector construction projects is essential if no education experience
* Experience in a consultancy environment is desirable
* MAPM or equivalent qualification
