BMSL Group is recruiting a Logistics Manager with a mechanical & electrical projects background for the Sizewell contract.
Responsibilities
The M&E Logistics Manager oversees the supply chain, storage, and transport of materials, equipment, and personnel for construction projects. Key responsibilities include coordinating on-site deliveries, managing inventory, supervising site transport and drivers, ensuring compliance with safety standards (RAMS), and optimizing subcontractor logistics for timely project delivery.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in mechanical and electrical packages
* Computer literate and accustomed to using MS and site management software
* Numeracy and ability to understand numerical data
* Display a 'Be Safe' attitude and behaviours
* Ability to work as a team and on own initiative
* Attitude for compliance and good attention to detail
* Articulate, confident and assertive
* Good standard of verbal reasoning skills
* Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise
* Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and on own initiative
* A comprehensive understanding of stock rotation
