We are seeking a dedicated Dismantler to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be adept with both hand and power tools. This role involves the careful disassembly and depollution of end of life vehicles, ensuring that all parts are handled safely and efficiently. The Dismantler will play a crucial role in maintaining l standards and contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Duties
* Dismantle End of Life Vehicles following safety protocols
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for disassembly tasks
* Inspect parts for damage or wear during the dismantling process
* Sort and categorise parts for recycling or reuse
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
* Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand how various components work together
* Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
* Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders
* Attention to detail to ensure quality control during dismantling processes
* Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
* Good problem-solving skills to address any issues that arise during disassembly
