Pay Scale: M1 – M6 (dependent on experience)
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Yeovil is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a long-term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who is confident in delivering high-quality Early Years provision and creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Role:
* Full teaching responsibilities within the EYFS setting
* Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
* Monitoring progress and supporting children’s development through strong assessment practices
* Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous EYFS teaching experience (essential)
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
* A warm, caring, and adaptable approach
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* A commitment to supporting children’s emotional and academic development
