Overview
Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives? We are looking for a caring, dedicated, and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Hertfordshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across Key Stages 3–5, ensuring they can thrive academically and socially in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with Special Educational Needs across KS3–KS5 within mainstream lessons and targeted interventions.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to implement personalised learning plans.
* Promote inclusive practice and a positive, supportive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable, but not essential.
* A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting students with a variety of needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.
