As an Occupational Therapist in a Neuro – Rehab department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients within the Birmingham community. This is a locum position with competitive pay, travel compensation, and the flexibility of working from home while providing essential services in the community.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Providing comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for patients with neurological conditions.
* Developing and implementing personalised treatment plans aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
* Utilising sensory integration techniques to support patient rehabilitation.
* Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with professional standards and regulations.
* Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the ongoing development of the Neuro – Rehab department.
Requirements:
* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
* Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Minimum qualification/training as a Sensory Integration Practitioner.
* Experience in neuro-rehabilitation is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
