About The Team And The Role
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organisation skills who will be seconded to the Admin Team for the NHS Community Adult Mental Health service based at Stratford Healthcare in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. The post holder will provide efficient and comprehensive administration support to clinicians and managers within an integrated Admin Team to support clinical service delivery. The role involves delivering dynamic and adaptable business support to practitioners and managers at the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, and enhancing the administrative offer to support the Mental Health Social Care Team by collaborating with frontline social care staff and managers.
Warwickshire County Council and Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust provide integrated community mental health and social care services under S75 of the National Health Service Act 2006. The arrangement delegates statutory social care functions to the Trust while seconding Council staff. Seconded employees remain employed by Warwickshire County Council and retain the council’s terms and conditions.
Hours and Where
Hours: 15 hours per week, Thursday and Friday (9:00–17:00)
Base: Adult Mental Health, Stratford Healthcare, Building 2, 2nd Floor, Arden Street, Stratford on Avon, CV37 6NQ
Responsibilities
* Deliver administration support to clinicians and managers within the Admin Team
* Perform digital dictation, minute taking, filing, archiving, and reception duties in Outpatients
* Build effective working relationships with staff and managers; maintain flexible, proactive, and approachable service delivery
* Support service delivery by working collaboratively with frontline social care staff
Qualifications and Skills
* Good empathetic telephone manner
* Ability to learn new computer systems quickly
* Excellent listening and typing skills
* Ability to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English (fluency duty)
