Position Description
Position Summary
This position provides administrative and project support to the Department of Human Development and Family Science. Responsibilities include data entry, project and event coordination, website and social media maintenance, routine and new annual activities monitoring, and a high volume of general support responsibilities, which may include assistance in school-wide functions as necessary when determined by the dean.
Education Required
High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Required
Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative support/secretarial experience

Skills, Characteristics Required for Position
Effective communication skills • Ability to communicate successfully across departments and with various constituencies, including external contacts • Strong organizational skills, including time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities • Strong computer proficiency including the ability to work independently in several of the Higher Education software packages, Excel and various databases as well as understand basic web design • Ability to work independently • Ability to effectively supervise work study students
