Purpose
: The Academy Assistant Performance Analyst position is designed to support the development of players and coaches by providing high-quality performance analysis across all academy age groups.The Role: Some of the key tasks you will perform include, but are not limited to:
1. Film training sessions and matches across multiple sites and age groups
2. Code and analyse training and match footage using provided mark-ups
3. Upload and manage footage on both internal servers and online platforms
4. Maintain an organised archive of completed work
5. Assist in identifying opposition and tactical trends
6. Provide ad-hoc support to full-time performance analysis staff
7. Commit to working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional long shifts, in line with the demands of the role

8. Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
9. Takes pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work with attention to detail
10. Possesses a solid understanding of football, both technically and tactically
11. Confident using performance analysis software such as Angles, Final Cut, Hudl, and Keynote
12. Quick to learn and eager to develop new skills
13. Proactive and able to work independently while following academy standards and policies
14. Flexible and available to work during evenings, weekends, and unsociable hours
