Job Summary
Are you ready to elevate your nursing career? We’re seeking a passionate, positive, and team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality, holistic care to patients throughout their healthcare journey. You will ensure that patients feel comforted and heard while working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Provider, or Physician. Enjoy the autonomy of being the primary nurse for a provider within your scope of practice!
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of patients.
* Document thorough medical histories from patients.
* Contribute to patient assessments and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
* Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
* Counsel patients and families on prevention and treatment plans under the direction of a registered nurse.
Qualifications
LPN:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
- Hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- If required, complete IV therapy/management training as per state regulations.
MA:
- Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program; prior healthcare experience preferred.
- Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA) through an approved certification program.
Additional state requirements include:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
