A Vacancy at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. An exciting opportunity to work in the East of England Neonatal Operational Delivery Network to help standardise Neonatal Outreach services across the region to the BAPM framework.
Working strategically under the leadership of the Lead Care Coordinator, this role offers a unique chance to influence regional service development, build strong professional networks, & gain valuable system‑wide experience across neonatal, community & commissioning services.
You will support the NHS Long Term Plan ambition of moving care closer to home, embedding Family Integrated Care, improving outcomes, experiences and satisfaction for babies & their families. The role is ideal for a motivated neonatal professional who is passionate about service improvement, collaborative working & making a meaningful difference beyond the neonatal unit.

You will work strategically across the East of England Neonatal ODN to review, develop & standardise Neonatal Outreach services to the BAPM framework. The role involves leading service improvement, supporting quality improvement projects, translating audit & gap‑analysis findings into tangible improvements for babies & families.
Working collaboratively with neonatal, community & multidisciplinary teams, you will champion Family Integrated Care, ensuring parental involvement & experience are central to service development. You will use strong communication, leadership & influencing skills to engage stakeholders, manage complex workstreams, & contribute at network & organisational level.
We are seeking an experienced neonatal Outreach professional with a track record of service development, quality improvement & delivering measurable outcomes. You will be able to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, demonstrate resilience, & show enthusiasm for enhancing baby & family outcomes.
