The company has experienced sustained growth and now requires a senior leader to ensure day‑to‑day operations run seamlessly while supporting wider strategic objectives.This role is critical in connecting strategic planning with operational delivery, optimising processes, and ensuring resources are effectively deployed across the organisation. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills, excellent financial and commercial acumen, and a proven background in operational management within a relevant industry. This role is a hybrid role based in Salford Quays, Manchester. Your new role Develop, implement, and oversee operational strategies aligned to business objectives. Manage and continuously improve daily operations across multi‑disciplinary teams. Monitor and manage operational budgets, analyse financial data, and ensure cost‑effective resource allocation. Lead, mentor, and motivate teams, promoting a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement. Identify operational risks and develop risk‑mitigation strategies to maintain compliance with legislation, industry standards, and quality frameworks. Build strong internal and external relationships including project leads, supply-chain partners, and clients. Establish and track KPIs to evaluate company performance and identify areas for improvement. Support innovation by implementing process optimisation methodologies and relevant technologies (e.g., ERP systems, data analytics, project management software). What you'll need to succeed Significant experience in a senior operations leadership role. Industry experience in surveying, construction, building consultancy, or related services. Strong leadership capability with proven experience developing and motivating cross-functional teams. High level of business and financial acumen. Knowledge of supply chain management, quality control, and operational process improvement. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with operational systems including ERP, analytics tools, and project management platforms. Experience in building safety, domestic retrofit, or compliance-focused environments. Track record of leading operational transformation or growth initiatives. Relevant professional accreditations or industry-specific qualifications. What you'll get in return This role is a progressive position, with a competitive salary range of £50,000–65,000.
