This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EIA professional to take the next step in their career, working on a diverse range of complex development and infrastructure schemes across the UK.
Projects currently include strategic urban extensions, large-scale residential developments, town centre regeneration, mixed-use masterplans, and selected infrastructure and energy schemes.
The Role As a Senior EIA Consultant, you will play a key role in managing and delivering impact assessment projects from inception through to submission.
Your responsibilities will include: Leading and coordinating EIA projects, particularly for major development schemes Acting as primary author and editor of Environmental Statements and related documentation Managing multidisciplinary inputs and reviewing specialist technical chapters Liaising with clients, design teams, planning authorities and consultees Overseeing project programmes, budgets and invoicing Supporting fee proposals, tender submissions and business development activities Attending networking and industry engagement events About You You will be degree qualified in environmental science or a related discipline and bring: Approximately 4 years experience within a consultancy environment A strong track record of delivering proportionate EIAs on complex UK projects Solid understanding of EIA Regulations and the UK planning system Membership of a relevant professional body (or working towards chartership) Excellent written, analytical and organisational xjlbheb skills A proactive, commercially aware and detail-focused approach Whats on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid working arrangements Exposure to high-profile, technically challenging projects Clear progression opportunities within a growing team Supportive, collaborative working culture When applying to any role through Cobalt, your CV will never be shared with a client without your prior consent.
