An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEND Improvement professional within a Northwest Local Authority to play a key role in identifying service improvement opportunities within SEND and Alternative Provision. Reporting to theHead of Service/ADyou will be responsible for leading and project managing the improvement journey across this service.
Your Role as SEND Improvement Lead:
Create and project manage the delivery/implementation plan across SEND.
Contribute to the quality assurance programme regarding SEND across Childrens Services
Work in partnership with key stakeholders to deliver the SEF (Self-evaluation programme)
Identify, plan and carry out improvement opportunities across SEND and alternative provision.
Contribute to development of policies and procedures.
Your previous experience as SEND Audit & Quality Assurance Officer:
In-depth experience at in respect of quality assurance and performance within Special Educational Needs and or Disabilities
Exemplary and up to date knowledge of current legislation and government guidance as it relates to services
Broad and deep experience of SEND Service Delivery and Quality Standards
•Must demonstrate a proven track record within a similar capacity in a Local Authority setting
