This expert team delivers comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors, including Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Defence. With a long-established presence in Northern Ireland, Tetra Tech has a proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-impact projects throughout the region.
Your new role
As a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer, you will lead and deliver multiple medium to large-scale projects, covering all aspects of electrical design within a consultancy environment. Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing electrical services from concept through to completion across various sectors
* Producing detailed design calculations, specifications, reports, and drawings
* Conducting site surveys and construction stage duties
* Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary design/construction teams
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Mentoring junior and intermediate engineers
* Supporting directors with resource planning and team management
* Contributing to estimates and bid submissions
What you'll need to succeed
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
* Proven experience managing building services projects from concept to handover
* Strong client-facing and communication skills
* Commercial awareness and project cost control experience
* Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop a team
* Knowledge of sustainable design and renewable technologies
* Proficiency in digital tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Relux, Dialux, Amtech, NBS, and Microsoft Office
* Full UK driving licence
