We are hiring for a Senior Technical Manager or Senior Design Manager to lead on a 200m high-rise, mixed-used scheme in London. Managing a small team and leading the project from inception through to completion you will be joining a leading London developer who portfolio ranges from student accommodation to prime residential tower blocks!
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of Technical Coordinators/Managers and external consultants to ensure successful project execution.
* Provide strategic input into planning design and guide the optimisation process through to approval.
* Supervise the design team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality production information.
* Collaborate closely with Land and Planning, as well as Sales and Marketing teams, to develop technical specifications.
* Prepare and present the Pre-Contract Programme to stakeholders.
* Oversee the timely submission and follow-up of statutory queries and applications (NHBC, LABC, Building Regulations).
* Conduct regular site inspections, focusing on Health & Safety compliance and reporting.
* Liaise with the Commercial team to maintain budget adherence and cost controls.
* Attend and lead various project meetings, ensuring effective coordination with internal and external parties.
* Proactively resolve technical and construction challenges as they arise.
Job Requirements:
* Proven experience in delivering medium to high-rise residential developments.
* In-depth knowledge of building regulations, environmental standards, and relevant legislation.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering.
