Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Responsibility for the team's performance.
* Ensuring the children are cared for in a happy and stimulating environment.
* Working in partnership with parents and carers.
* Supporting children in their individual routines such as meals, nappies, sleep and outings.
* Experience of being a key person including writing assessments and observations.
* Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children.
* Following and implementing all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
* Be able to capture children's learning moments and record them.
* Responsible for leading and supporting a team of Nursery Practitioners, ensuring all Key Person's tasks are completed.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
* Minimum NVQ 3 childcare and education or recognised equivalent.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
* A sound knowledge of child protection procedures.
* A sound knowledge of child development for children from birth to five years and understanding of the EYFS.
* Experience of working with children 0-5 years.
All successful applicants will be required to have an Enhanced DBS carried out.
