An exciting opportunity has arisen within our flourishing school, and we are seeking a dynamic and inspirational teacher of Technology, (Food Focus). We are looking to recruit an experienced and well-qualified Teacher of Design Technology.

Salary type: MPS/UPS
Salary Details: TMS1 (£32,916) ~ UPR3 (£51,048) FTE
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time/Part-time - Hours- 0.8 FTE, however would consider 1 FTE. Please state your preference on the application.

About the role
1. To ensure all students reach their potential through delivery of high quality teaching and learning, alongside effective monitoring, assessment and target setting.
2. Plan effectively, where applicable, to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs and, in collaboration with the SENCO, make an appropriate contribution to the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of Individual Education Plans
3. Set appropriate and challenging targets using prior attainment and assessment information

About you
8. Have a working knowledge and understanding of the teacher’s professional duties
9. Qualified Teacher or pending QTS
10. Ability to apply knowledge and skills from theory in a practical classroom context
11. Able to influence desired student behaviour
12. A team player able to work effectively in a team, understanding the strengths and weakness of others to help team development
