The Role
As a Construction Teacher, Tutor or Trainer you will deliver structured, practical lessons to small groups. You will work to the BTEC curriculum, so experience in a school or college setting is essential. You will be responsible for teaching the basics and preparing students for the world of work while underpinning skills and H&S as part of the programme.
The Candidate
You will hold a teaching qualification and have worked in a school or college setting teaching BTEC. You will be keen to develop your input in practical lessons that enable students to progress. You will have a track record of teaching and be able to adapt your technique to engage with all students. Insights into apprenticeships and the world of work are essential.
Requirements
* Teaching Qualification
* BTEC – In-depth knowledge of the BTEC Construction.
* Enhanced DBS – Ideally on the Update Service.
* Desire to work with students aged 14+ – With a genuine interest in supporting progress.
* Experience working with students in an SEMH or College setting.
