The region's leading charity in tackling violence against women and girls, BSWA offers a helpline, webchat, drop-in services, community support, and emergency accommodation in six refuges across the area.
Our projects support women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Additionally, we provide training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals to raise awareness of gender-based violence issues.
We are seeking like-minded women to join our enthusiastic team, passionate about supporting women and children who have experienced domestic abuse and addressing the wider issues of violence against women and girls.
This role will assist the refuge manager in the day-to-day operation of our young women's refuge, developing and delivering frontline support, advice, and guidance to the young women in our refuge.
