Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on Programme Manager with strong experience in banking, microservices architecture, and complex technology migrations. You’ll lead strategic, high-value initiatives, manage large budgets, and drive delivery across cross-functional teams.
Key Requirements:
* Financial services/banking experience is essential.
* Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and middleware migrations.
* Proven track record in managing complex migrations – sleeves-up and delivery focused.
* Experience with multi-£M budgets, delivery estimation, and executive reporting.
* Comfortable operating at CXO, architecture, and engineering levels.
* Background in consulting or SI delivery with solid SOW/commercial management.
* Strong leadership of cross-functional teams (~30 people).
* Programme recovery experience is a must.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and recover large-scale tech programmes in banking.
* Manage scope, schedule, risks, and budgets.
* Collaborate across engineering, architecture, and executive teams.
* Deliver programme updates to senior stakeholders.
* Ensure alignment to strategy while maintaining delivery focus.
