Job Description
* Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
* Conduct credit checks and assess customer creditworthiness.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Prepare and distribute invoices to customers accurately.
* Follow up on overdue payments through phone, email, and written communication.
* Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing queries.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* Strong knowledge of credit control and accounting principles.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Experience in the transport & distribution industry is advantageous.
* Capability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
