Salary: £37,422 – £41,355 per annum
Location: SBHA Head Office, Selkirk (with travel across the Borders)
Hours: 35 per week | Permanent

Are you a construction professional who takes pride in quality, collaboration and making a difference to people’s lives? Join Scottish Borders Housing Association (SBHA) as our Clerk of Works and play a key role in delivering our £77 million development programme, creating 300 new homes across the Scottish Borders by 2028.
What you’ll do:
* Carry out regular site inspections, ensuring all works meet SBHA’s high standards and regulatory requirements.
* Build strong relationships with contractors and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
* Oversee health and safety compliance, reporting and resolving issues swiftly.
* Coordinate handovers, ensuring homes are defect‑free and ready for tenants.
* Represent SBHA at meetings, with residents, and during inspections.
What you’ll bring:
* HND/C or equivalent in Building (or substantial relevant experience).
* Significant construction and property experience.
* A keen eye for quality and detail, with a commitment to excellence.
* Strong communication and IT skills.
* A collaborative, proactive approach and a full UK driving licence.
