Job Summary
The key roles of this position are supporting Helpdesk and Asset Management. This role enables the employee gain real-world experience in the work force by working with the IT department.
Job Responsibilities
1. Asset Management Computer setup, repair, decommission and recycling Spare parts organization
2. Helpdesk Computer Maintenance End user set up and support via phone and in person Support Printers
3. Perform other related duties as required.
4. Support related improvement projects as assigned.
5. Completes Key Job Requirements and other tasks related to this position as assigned by cognizant management.
Job Qualifications
Education
6. Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Essential
7. MUST BE A U.S Citizen
8. Education: Student actively attending an IT related area of studies.
9. Previous IT support experience is beneficial.
10. Strong writing and communication skills are required.
11. Experience with Microsoft products is beneficial.
12. Support the vision and mission for the Company, and the strategies and processes to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and management.
13. Support the company's commitment to maintain a safe workplace and to protect the environment by adhering to Company policy and various government regulations.
14. Comply with the GKN Compliance and Ethics Policy on Contracting with the United States Government in all areas of responsibility involving direct and indirect contracting with the United States Government.
