Team Manager - Cornwall Penzance

Under the direction of the Senior Manager or Service Manager for Area Care & Support, or Therapy, and operating as part of the integrated service management team, the Team Manager oversees a team of practitioners delivering effective care and support to improve outcomes for adults with specific needs within a defined area of Cornwall.
The role involves managing and supervising social care assessments and plans across all tiers of need as identified within the Care Act 2014, ensuring that casework decisions effectively safeguard adults, promote their wellbeing, and enhance their quality of life. The Team Manager directly manages multidisciplinary teams and is accountable for maintaining high standards and performance in Referral, Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Review processes.
This role requires translating new policies, legislation, and guidance into team practice, with evidence provided through Peer Reviews and HMI inspections.

The successful candidate will possess both knowledge and technical expertise relevant to the company and industry, playing a central role in decision-making and collaborating with multiple teams. The role also involves overseeing specific personnel.
