The role
We are seeking a dedicated van fitter.
You ideally would have a background in coachworks or as a caravan fitter. Also, someone with an interest and experience in general DIY and plumbing and electrics would be suitable.
You will be working on a variety of vans, none of which have the same spec so you will need to read plans and be able to use your inititive.
This is a temp to perm role.
Time 7am - 4pm (unpaid break). Monday and Friday.
Lifting required so physical fitness is required.
Wage £13.50 per hour
Responsibilities
* Fitting out a variety of vans to a high standard.
* Some lifting
* Some waterproofing of van
* Handle materials safely and efficiently.
* Support shipping and receiving activities, including
* Ensure safety standards are met
* Support with basic mechanical tasks or repairs as required
Requirements
* Previous experience in coach or caravan firring preferred
* A wide variety of DIY experience including electrics and plumbing
* Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Mechanical knowledge or understanding of materials handling equipment is beneficial
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
* A professional and positive attitude
* Good communication skills
* Own transport to travel to work
* Complete training as required
