You’ll be involved across the full product lifecycle - from early design and development through to prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement of complex mechanical assemblies that sit at the heart of cutting-edge technology.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Playing a key role in mechanical design and development activities within a structured engineering environment
* Supporting the evolution and enhancement of existing products to meet evolving technical and operational requirements
* Producing detailed engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation that directly support project delivery
* Contributing to the estimation of effort, cost, and timescales for design and development work
* Getting hands-on with prototype build, assembly, and testing activities for new and evolving systems
* Supporting the implementation of engineering changes and improvements across live projects
* Working closely with wider engineering, production, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Occasionally travelling within the UK to support testing, build, or project activities where required
What We’re Looking For:
* Ability to read, interpret, and work confidently from technical drawings and engineering documentation
* Strong IT capability, particularly across Microsoft Office tools and engineering databases
* Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured technical documentation
* A logical and analytical approach to problem solving, with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator who can work effectively across engineering and non-engineering teams
* Self-driven, organised, and comfortable managing your own workload
* Able to stay calm and effective when working to tight deadlines or changing priorities
* Practical, adaptable mindset with a willingness to get involved in hands-on engineering work
* Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
