As a key member of our Strategic Planning Division, you'll:
* Help shape and deliver planning policies that guide Bexley's future.
* Provide expert advice across the Council and to external partners.
* Lead and contribute to projects, including commissioning consultants.
* Support development management on planning applications, pre-applications and appeals.
* Work collaboratively with neighbouring authorities and stakeholders through the duty to cooperate.

Candidate Profile
* Educated to degree level in Town Planning (or related discipline), with RTPI membership (or eligibility).
* Passionate about planning, with knowledge of London-wide and national planning matters.
* A clear communicator who thrives on collaboration and problem-solving.
* Ambitious to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
A postgraduate qualification (MSc or similar) is desirable but not essential.
