Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Help make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities by leading our York Mews supported living service in Clacton-on-Sea.
At ivolve, we are one of the largest adult social care providers in the UK, passionate about creating better lives for those we support. We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to oversee our vibrant, modern service, which includes six one-bedroom apartments and a two-bedroom apartment. The individuals we support have learning disabilities and benefit from personalized, one-to-one support, enabling them to lead more independent lives.
About the Service
York Mews offers a warm, supportive environment where individuals live in their own apartments with access to communal areas. Located just a few minutes’ walk from Clacton’s High Street, the service provides easy access to local shops, attractions, and public transport, including Clacton Pier. Our team provides 24-hour support, assisting with household chores, shopping, managing finances, health appointments, and social activities.
The service promotes independence, encouraging individuals to make their own choices about daily life, including their plans and engagement in educational and work-related activities.
About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the operation of the service, ensuring high standards of care, support, and culture. You will manage a dedicated team, motivate and equip them to deliver excellent outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and build relationships with key stakeholders. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining the service's efficiency, sustainability, and fostering an environment of quality, inclusion, and person-centred care.
What You’ll Need
* Proven leadership/management experience in social care
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or willingness to work towards it)
* Deep knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements in social care
* Experience managing services for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, or acquired brain injuries
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
