Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor Location: Dundee | Salary: Competitive | Contract: Permanent We are currently working with a well-established main contractor who is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dundee. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of construction projects, supporting commercial delivery from pre-construction through to final account. The Role: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of construction projects, working closely with site and project teams to ensure cost control and commercial compliance. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and forecasts. Measurement, valuations, and preparation of applications for payment. Managing variations, change control, and final accounts. Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages. Supporting commercial reporting and maintaining cost control on live projects. About You: Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor. Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration. Experience across building projects (commercial, residential, or industrial). Strong IT and reporting skills; estimating software experience beneficial. Confident communicator able to work effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
