Job Description: Multi-Skilled Labourer / Workshop & Site Assistant

Rate: To be agreed (hourly or day rate depending on experience)
About the Role
We are a specialist building services company working on Grade I & II listed properties and high-quality building works. We are looking for a proactive Multi-Skilled Labourer to support across workshop and site activities.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, and willing to turn their hand to a range of tasks — from labouring and site support to assisting with basic carpentry or building works.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out general labouring tasks: lifting, moving materials, assisting trades
* Workshop support: preparing timber, sanding, tool organisation, waste management
* Site support: assisting with fitting, minor repairs, and general building work
* Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised
* Loading/unloading deliveries and ensuring materials are in the right place
* Running errands (materials collection, tip runs)
* Supporting all tradespeople with hands-on assistance where required
* Undertaking basic maintenance or handyman-type tasks as needed
Requirements
* Experience in construction, building, or a multi-trade role preferred
* Basic skills in carpentry, building, or similar trades desirable
* Good practical skills and willingness to learn new ones
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence and transport (Deal breaker)
