Purpose of the Role:
Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Epping Forest District Council to recruit a Customer Payment Solutions Lead on a part-time, temporary basis. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to be on-site 1 day per month after an initial training period. Lead, and be responsible for the day to day functions within postholder's area and for the delivery of outcomes. Through personal example, open commitment and clear action provide support and ensure the Council delivers and maintains compliant solutions.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Import of bank statement
* Allocation and reconciliation of payments
* Importing files to Income Management system
* Project work for Income Management system - planned upgrades, system testing, checking imports/exports
* Troubleshooting issues with the Income Management system, raising cases with supplier and following up
* Issuing refunds
* Covering calls and taking telephone payments
* Processing cheques
* Running reports
* Mailbox management
* End of day tasks - saving files, checking imports and exports
