About the Role Are you a strategic thinker with strong experience in project delivery, media communications, and stakeholder engagement? This role offers a dynamic mix of programme leadership, international collaboration, public engagement, and media strategy. Youll work across UK regions and key global territories (such as West and Southern Africa), managing cross-border projects that directly impact lives. Key Responsibilities Project & Programme Leadership Lead and oversee the development and delivery of high-impact health and education projects Manage cross-regional teams and partnerships to ensure goals are achieved Drive innovation in digital outreach and learning tools Monitor project performance and impact through strong evaluation frameworks Partnership Development Build and manage relationships with public bodies, NGOs, schools, and international stakeholders Lead the rollout of professional training and outreach programmes in underserved communities Media & Public Engagement Develop and lead impactful media and communications campaigns Represent the organisation as a spokesperson across digital, press, and live events Coordinate the production of digital content, explainer videos, and accessible public materials Fundraising & Development Support Support the preparation of grant applications and donor proposals Engage sponsors, funders, and corporate partners to drive programme sustainability Team & Operational Leadership Line-manage project teams and contractors, fostering a high-performance culture Ensure compliance with funding agreements, charity governance, and budgeting processes Person Specification Essential: 5 years of project or programme leadership in charity, health, education, or development sectors Strong background in stakeholder management and communications Experience delivering media, campaign, or digital outreach strategies Comfortable with domestic and international travel UK driving licence Desirable: Knowledge of UK public health or education sectors Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Trello, Canva, or CRM platforms Grant writing or MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning) experience Language skills (French or an African language are a bonus) Location & Travel The role is based in Aberdeen (hybrid), with travel across Scotland (e.g., Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lothians, Scottish Borders) and periodic international travel.
