Fast Track Costs Draftsman Location: Liverpool Salary: £30,000 £40,000 (depending on experience) Contract: Full Time, Permanent Are you an experienced Costs Draftsman with a strong background in Fast Track litigation ? Im recruiting on behalf of Your Legal Costs, a respected and expanding specialist in the field of legal costs. Due to continued growth, theyre looking to add a talented Fast Track Costs Draftsman to their Liverpool-based Drafting Department. The Role Youll be responsible for preparing a variety of Fast Track costs documentation across multiple case types, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery to both internal and external clients. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing and serving Fast Track Schedules of Costs, Bills of Costs, and Part 8 documentation Preparing Fixed Costs Schedules and N260 Statements of Costs Managing a varied caseload and meeting strict deadlines Communicating effectively with clients and third parties via email and phone Maintaining an excellent understanding of litigation processes and case management Assisting with the training and development of junior team members Staying up to date with CPR and costs management procedures Experience with issuing Part 8 proceedings and a working knowledge of phasing and the costs management process would be advantageous. About You Youll be a motivated and detail-focused Costs professional with: Minimum 2 years experience drafting Fast Track Bills and Schedules Proficiency in CostsMaster (essential) and Proclaim (advantageous) Good knowledge of Excel and general IT systems Strong communication skills and attention to detail Excellent time management and organisational ability A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning Experience across multiple case typessuch as Housing Disrepair, Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Industrial Disease, NIHL, Serious RTA, and Commercial Litigation will be beneficial.
