*Skilled Motor Vehicle Mechanic - Join Our Workshop Team*We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced *Automotive Mechanic* to join our busy workshop team. This role requires a professional who is proficient in complex diagnostics, maintenance, and major mechanical repairs, ensuring all work meets rigorous quality and time standards.*Core Responsibilities** *Advanced Repairs:* Confidently perform and complete complex mechanical repairs, including:* *Clutch replacements** *Cylinder head gasket repairs** *Timing belts, chains, and wet belts** *Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:* Accurately diagnose and address mechanical and electrical issues in a wide range of vehicles.* *Routine Maintenance:* Perform comprehensive routine maintenance tasks and services.* *Inspections:* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to proactively identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.* *Parts Management:* Repair and replace faulty parts and components efficiently and correctly.* *Record Keeping:* Maintain accurate and organised records of all maintenance and repairs performed.* *Time Management:* Must be able to confidently work in line with *Autodata repair time standards* to ensure efficiency and timely service delivery.*Working Hours** *Monday - Friday:* 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM* *Saturdays:* Alternate Saturdays are required.*Requirements & SkillsEssential Requirements:** *Experience:* Minimum of *5 years of proven experience* as an Automotive Mechanic.* *License:* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.*Key Skills:** *Technical Proficiency:* Expert proficiency in mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting.* *Knowledge Base:* Strong knowledge of complex automotive systems and components.* *Efficiency:* Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills, especially adhering to repair time schedules.* *Teamwork:* Ability to work effectively both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively as part of a team.*Career Opportunity*We are committed to the professional development of our team.
