We are currently partnering with a manufacturing and engineering firm based in Swansea, who are recruiting for a HR Generalist to join them on an 18 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time position paying £42,000 starting as soon as possible. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Providing generalist HR support across the full employee life-cycle, including employee relations, recruitment and training Managing difficult and complex employee relations cases, such as grievances, disciplinaries, absences and performance in a unionised environment Leading end-to-end recruitment and onboarding of new employees from requisition to hire Supporting with payroll changes, such as pay and position changes, benefits changes, and starter and leaver processes Handling HR Administrative tasks such as gathering information and reporting on key people metrics Coaching, advising and guiding managers on HR best practice Liaising with trade union representatives Experience required: Experience working within a fast-paced unionised environment Previously employee relations experience Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Self-starter who can hit the ground running Able to work autonomously Rewards and Benefits: 26 days annual leave, plus bank holidays Access to private healthcare Quarterly cash bonus Working hours : 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm, willing to be flexible Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
