Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £34k + Training & Benefits
Due to recent expansion, we are recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer, to cover contracts across the North West of England. The role is within a respected Water Hygiene / Water Treatment outfit, who have national coverage. Duties will include a varied range of ACOP L8 monitoring tasks, in addition to working to agreed deadlines. The company is offering excellent training in order to round out engineers' experience, so this is a fantastic opportunity to gain further industry knowledge. Experience / Qualifications:
- Existing experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
- Working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
- Able to work across a mixed portfolio of client sites
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Comfortable using IT software to complete reports
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Undertaking a range of pre-planned ACOP L8 duties across a range of client sites
- Showerhead descales
- TMV servicing
- Cleans & disinfections on CWST and cooling towers
- Closed system sampling
- Tank chlorinations
- Water sampling from various systems, including pool / spa / domestic hot & cold
- Temperature monitoring
- Producing regular service reports
- Adhering to strict deadlines
