Precision AQ is growing We are looking for an exceptional Senior Account Director to join our Healthcare Advertising team in the UK. This is a remote position with possibility to work from one of our offices in London or Salisbury.
Summary:
The Senior Account Director (SAD) oversees major client accounts; they lead client strategy, guide project execution from brief to completion, and foster strong, long‑term client relationships. The role requires collaborating across teams, setting priorities, managing resources, and inspiring internal and external stakeholders. The SAD also leads pitches, drives organic growth, and identifies new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Leadership
* Own and lead multiple client accounts and overall client relationships
* Provide strategic direction and lead client briefs, meetings, and annual planning.
* Ensure high‑quality project delivery, creative excellence, and client satisfaction.
* Maintain strong industry/therapeutic knowledge and proactively pursue organic growth.
Financial Management
* Ensure account profitability through accurate budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring hours vs. budget.
* Oversee project timelines, resource needs, and financial processes (POs, invoicing, reconciliations).
* Report key financial and team data to senior leadership.
Team & Operational Management
* Line manage and develop junior team members (PMs, PDs, ADs).
* Identify training needs, share expertise, and uphold compliance with relevant codes of practice.
* Manage external service providers and support implementation of agency policies.
New Business
* Identify and convert new opportunities within existing and new clients.
* Lead new business pitches and support credentials meetings
* Leverage network and past contacts to generate new leads.
Other
* Travel for client meetings as needed
* Adhere to all legal, compliance, H&S, and information security requirements.
Requirements:
* 7–10 years' experience in advertising, ideally in a healthcare advertising agency
* Demonstrated experience working across global, regional, and domestic markets, with the ability to tailor strategies to different geographies and organisational structures.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills
* Previous line management experience
