Senior Accountant
Location: Hybrid, MK
Salary: Up to £65k (depending on experience)

This role has been created due to the company’s continued expansion and the increasing workload of the current owner. They are looking for a capable professional to take on key responsibilities as the firm grows further.
The firm has achieved consistent year-on-year growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. You will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping its continued success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Statutory Accounts Preparation: Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
2. Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead financial close processes, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
3. Strategic Financial Guidance: Provide clients with valuable financial insights to support decision-making.
4. Process Optimisation: Work with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with regulatory changes and ensure full compliance with tax laws.
6. Mentorship: Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications & Skills
1. ACCA or ACA Qualified/Near Qualified: Strong professional credentials.
2. Experience: Proven track record in an accounting firm.
3. Accounting Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
4. Software Proficiency: Competent in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks and/or Xero is a plus.
5. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
7. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
Remuneration & Benefits
