An opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the Virtual School Kent’s Participation Team within Integrated Children’s Services. This is a great opportunity to gain a level 2 qualification in Customer Service whilst working as an Apprentice in a large, diverse, rapidly changing organisation. The Virtual School Kent has responsibilities for the education of Children in Care, Care Leavers, Adopted Children as well as Children and Young People with a social worker. Their Participation Team works to help ensure that the views and opinions of these young people and those who have left care are heard and are taken in consideration. You would be helping to run our activity days, meetings and events, and other county and local initiatives like, supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes. This role requires an organised and caring individual with good communication skills, who enjoys interacting with children and young people.
