Job Objective & Responsibilities:
We are looking to appoint a temporary proactive Janitor to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for all our customers and staff. This is a permanent contract.
Duties:
• Waste management in line with on-site process and achieve recycling targets
• Use of on-site equipment including cardboard baler, waste compactor, pallet lifter and ride on sweeper
• Driving and operating company vehicles including towing a trailer
• Maintain the cleanliness within the back of house areas including corridors and lifts
• Maintain the cleanliness within the service yards and car park
• Assist client and retailers with the removal of items requiring disposal
• Take an active role in emergency situations including Fire Warden tasks
• Work with on site and ad hoc contractors, maintaining a professional and courteous manner
Candidate requirements:
• Enjoy working as part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal
• Excellent time management
• Smart and well presented
• High level of customer care awareness
• Manual handling capability
• Driving licence required
