Digital & Technology Services provide IT services and facilities for the University of Dundee across all campuses. The directorate provides services ranging from the provision of the university core network & datacentres through to client devices and provision of corporate software systems.
We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as an IT-Buyer within Digital & Technology Services. In this role you will be responsible for procurement of digital technology services and products on behalf of stakeholders across the University. Reporting to Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing procurement and management strategies that ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
Digital & Technology Services are currently undertaking a significant multi-year investment in new & improved services across the university. As part of this we are expanding our team and are looking for outstanding candidates to join us. You will be joining a team which is at the centre of the next stage of the university's growth.
Your priorities will include:
* Procurement and delivery of digital and departmental products/services
* Driving innovation and cost efficiency in IT service offering
* Optimising procurement and compliance processes and procedures
* Supplier analysis and reconciliation
* Managing stakeholder relationships
Who we're looking for:
* A candidate who possesses excellent written and oral communication skills to influence people at all levels
* A candidate with previous knowledge and experience in IT procurement.
