CAMHS Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Preceptorship Band 7-8a
Detailed Job Description is attached. Main responsibilities include:
1. Providing a clinical psychology service to clients of the Greenwich CAMHS Adolescent Team, including highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention.
2. Offering advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and other, non-professional carers.
3. Providing supervision to clinical psychologists, psychological therapists, and trainees.
4. Conducting initial assessments and care coordination for a defined number of young people within the Adolescent Team.
5. Offering supervision to more junior staff.
6. Working autonomously within professional guidelines, consistent with CYP-IAPT principles, within a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to overall service delivery.
7. Utilising research skills to lead on audit, policy, service development, and research within the team/service area.
