Join us at GXO, as Assistant Management Accountant for our customers in our Home Delivery Network.
This is a full time, permanent position with 37.5 hours per week contracted (Monday to Friday between 8:00 to 17:00). We can be flexible for hybrid working, with a requirement to be based in our Doncaster depot on Wednesdays.
Pay, benefits and more:

What youll do on a typical day:
Deliver accurate weekly and monthly customer/site financial reporting, timely invoicing, and clear resolution of queries
Provide detailed financial analysis, highlight value-adding insights, and confidently present key information to senior stakeholders
Own key financial processes including insurance reporting, balance sheet management, accruals, prepayments, GL coding, and adherence to finance policies
Proactively challenge managers on data accuracy, support continuous improvement initiatives, and take a solution-focused approach across Finance and Operations
Work collaboratively within the team while independently managing workload; demonstrate strong accounting knowledge including double-entry and cost drivers
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience completing monthly Management Accounts and preparing accounting packs including analysis
Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with Finance Business Partners and functional leads
A structured, organised approach with proven ability to meet deadlines
Solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply them accurately to transaction timing and treatment
A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of identifying opportunities to enhance quality or efficiency
