THE ROLE
As the Regional Made to Measure and custom Manager, you will manage, develop and directly influence the regional MTM and Custom business and culture within Thom Browne.
* Maximize sales and revenue utilizing all available data, knowledge of the business and marketplace to consistently seek new opportunities to improve core MTM and custom business
* Achieve and exceed regular monthly, seasonal, quarterly and annual MTM sales plans for the region
* Manage the VIP Clients and Special-Order Requests; contribute concrete problem-solving activities to satisfy customer needs
* Provide best-in-class customer service, building strong client relationships with regular communication and swatch mail-outs. Build a viable, well-organized client network through the MTM specialists
* Plan seasonal training for the sales teams with retail and wholesale regional teams.
* Support trainings plans and development path for regional MTM talents.
* Maintain exceptional product knowledge, including understanding of production techniques and technologies, styling and design concepts, methods of construction, materials and fabric selection
* Plan seasonal trunk shows in regional stores for wholesale and retail
* Actively maintain Brand expertise in terms of product, brand history, events and projects, key trends, selling points and featured seasonal products
* Identify selling opportunities, communicate customer feedback, process shipment/transfers in a timely manner
* Assess and review quality control of all MTM orders. Work with internal and external specialists to alter products, using suitable and efficient tailoring construction methods
* Submit MTM Orders in the MTM Order Entry Portal; Follow up on orders; minimize deficiencies
* Ensure reporting activity at the end of each travel and at the end of the season
* Check production order status: liaising with MTM operations, customer service and product delivery and execution. Proactively inform teams accordingly
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a tailoring-focused, luxury retail or wholesale environment
* Demonstrated proficiency in the areas of client relationship management, product knowledge, selling techniques and advanced garment construction expertise
* Possesses analytical skills and competencies in the development of performance, processes and sales analysis
* Passionate representative of the Thom Browne world
* Highly organized, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
* Confident, professional, comfortable working autonomously; diplomatic verbal and written communication
