Job Title: HR and Recruitment Administrative Assistant Location: Birmingham (City Centre) Contract Type: Temporary / Seasonal Working Hours: the office must be staffed from 08:00 20:00 Monday to Friday so a shift system operates in the team to cover early starts and late finishes. A willingness to be flexible is essential. Weekend Working: there will be some weekend working in September and October. During November and December every member of the team is expected to work either Saturday or Sunday. Hourly Rate: Competitive depending experience. Key Responsibilities Schedule interviews and Right to Work appointments. Assist with Right to Work checks and verification processes. Prepare and issue contracts and onboarding documentation. Track the return of key documents via shared spreadsheets. Book new starters into induction sessions and provide administrative support during sessions. Support attendance monitoring and weekly payroll queries. Assist with ongoing filing, including weekly timesheets and compliance documents (e.g., P11D, P45). Print and laminate essential documents such as: Health & safety handbooks, Evacuation plans and signage, Stall numbers and RBL signs Ideal Candidate Experience in an administrative or HR support role. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and other admin systems. Must be flexible with working hours.
