Paramedic - GP Surgery Job Type: Ongoing Temporary Location: Abbey Medical Practice and Glebe Park Surgery Contract Duration: October 2025 - March 2026 (with potential extension) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00–20:00 - flexible scheduling available. Clinicians will coordinate to cover the full time span, allowing you to choose hours that best suit your availability. We are seeking Paramedics with independent prescribing qualifications to support urgent and same-day care needs, particularly focusing on the increased incidence of acute respiratory illnesses during winter. This role is crucial in providing accessible and efficient healthcare services during peak times. Day-to-day of the role: Recognise signs of patient deterioration. Immediately call for the supervising ACP. Commence A-E assessment while awaiting the ACP. Assist the ACP as directed. Document all actions and observations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Valid registration as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner or Paramedic. Independent prescribing qualification is essential. Proven experience in managing acute respiratory illnesses is highly desirable. Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and emergency response. Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Contract Details: This position is outside IR35, allowing payment to a limited company. The contract is set to start in October 2025 and will end in March 2026, with a high likelihood of extension based on service needs.
